Combined technologies for environmental monitoring and reduction of methane emissions in dairy cows
The CowMeTec project, funded under Intervention SRG08 - Support for pilot and innovation testing actions of the 2023-2027 CAP Strategic Programme of the Emilia-Romagna Region, aims to integrate genetic, nutritional, environmental, and production data into a web app that will support business decisions for more comprehensive management of methane emissions.
To carry out the project, Nutristar is collaborating with the University of Parma, ANAFIBJ, the University of Florence, and the University of Guelph - Lactanet.
